夏季炎热之语：英语如何表达“好晒”
炎炎夏日的酷热再度来袭，高悬的烈日炙烤着大地，刚融化在手中的冰淇淋勾起的是对夏日的一个字：晒。如何用英语表达“好晒”呢？让我们分为形容词和动词两部分来学习这些词汇。
形容词：晒
1. bright / sunny
描述阳光充足，没有阴天或遮挡，但并不一定刺眼。
示例：
It's so bright / sunny outside!
外面好大太阳！
2. harsh
表示刺眼，形容阳光、声音或光线异常强烈。
示例：
The sun is so harsh. I can't open my eyes!
阳光好刺眼，我都睁不开眼睛！
3. scorching
灼热的，当阳光晒得你感觉皮肤要烧焦时，就可以用这个词来形容（又晒又热）。
示例：
Can we go somewhere else? There are no trees in the square and the sun is scorching.

4. shine
to send out or reflect light
照射；发光；反光
shine一词客观的表达了太阳发出光照这一现象，但对于描述“太晒”的程度而言，shine一词表达并不强烈。

The sun shone all afternoon.

5. burn
字面意思，即晒伤。描述皮肤晒得发红发烫，并造成实际伤害。
示例：
On her first day in the Caribbean Josie was badly burned
(= her skin became red and painful from too much sun).

Fair-skinned people burn easily in the sun.

6. scorch

7. catch some rays

8. tan /tæn/
to become brown, or to make someone's body or skin, etc. brown, from being in the sun
